So according to the values of Miyagi-san the people in the Mortal Kombat trailer don't fight. Sub-Zero would be disqualified from the All Valley karate tournament on the Netflix series pretty quickly.
On the other hand, the good Cobra Kai kids wouldn't last a minute in a ring with the live-action version of the fighter Scorpion.
As for the matter: I'm not really sure what exactly happens in the trailer for the filming of the video game classic. But it looks extremely brutal and wacky. Count me in, I'll be ready when that thing hits the cinemas.
I don't want to make the comparison too wide, but Mortal Kombat just looks like a cross between Lord of the Rings and Cobra Kai with 1000 liters of fake blood in the trailer. Maybe that's CGI blood, too. I have no eye for it.
The magical fantasy world replaces the school corridors. The special freeze attack replaces the cleanly executed roundhouse kick. Both are painful, but only one of them will burst your arms off your body. Find out when Cobra xmovies tv will continue.
Mortal Kombat is slated to hit theaters on April 8, 2021.
